Southern Area Hospice had a great impromptu Fashion Show at the Canal Court recently to highlight their wonderful outfits from their local Hospice Shops.
With the Christmas season upon us many people are searching for the perfect outfit to celebrate Christmas and the New Year in style. We all know Christmas can be a particularly expensive time of year; however your local Southern Area Hospice shop has its rails stocked with beautiful new and used party wear which means you can still dress to impress without having to splash the cash!
With a fabulous range of ladies, gents and children's clothing items available, including jewellery, hats, scarves and ties and vintage items, there is plenty to choose from for that perfect party outfit or Christmas present. Customers can expect a wide range of stock, and the shops also have a private changing area and expert service. In addition to clothing, the shops stock table-ware, books and general bric-a-brac and our Rathfriland store also stocks toys and bicycles. An added bonus will be that all proceeds will go to your local Hospice to care for those in the community who need it most...this truly is a Christmas gift that keeps on giving.
The Hospice Shops are located in Monaghan Street - Newry, Downpatrick Street – Rathfriland, Rathfriland Street - Banbridge and our Encore Shop on Hill Street Newry stocks new and pre-loved bridal wear, evening wear and accessories. Southern Area Hospice shops will also accept donations of good quality items of clothing, jewellery, table wear, bedding, shoes, furniture, nursery items and general bric a brac. Thanks to our Hospice models for displaying our style so elegantly and for volunteering their time to help Southern Area Hospice. The models were reigning ‘Maiden of the Mournes’ Margaret Murphy, and Berling model Elaine Ruddy. The Hospice thanked the Canal Court Hotel for letting them use their fantastic venue for the photo-shoot and also thanked Bernice and Aishling at Berling for all their help.
