The Irish Classes have moved to Gaeláras Mhic Ardghail from tonight the 21st of January.
For Class goers ample parking is available in a Council car park about 20 metres along Upper Chapel Street on the right hand side (as you travel past St. Mary’s Old Chapel from Chapel Street). Parking at the Gaeláras is restricted to 8 spaces and will be used initially by the voluntary teachers and anyone requiring a shorter walk.
We respectfully request that no one parks in space that would interfere with the normal traffic of the long-established residents of the area.
A chair-lift at the steps, currently being manufactured in Italy, will be installed in the next few months.
