Kelly praises Credit Union

Earlier this month Newry man Tom Kelly OBE spoke at the Newry Credit Union’s 50th Year Gala Ball in the Canal Court Hotel.

Mr. Kelly has been involved with Newry Credit Union since 1980 and served as both President and Treasurer.

In his speech he gave much praise to everyone involved in getting Newry Credit Union to where it is today from humble beginnings in 1963.

He also asked for continued support of the Credit Union movement from members, local politicians and the people of Newry in order to help celebrate 50 more years of helping local people and organisations.”
