Write a commentGaeláras Mhic Ardghail in Chapel Street is holding a six week introduction to Irish for Beginners starting next Wednesday 23 January.
It's an opportunity to start learning Irish and maybe fulfil that New Years Resolution that has always been in the back of your mind.
Over 250 adults in Newry, from all backgrounds, are learning Irish at various venues and at different levels in the town - why not join them?
The six sessions will run every Wednesday from 7 - 8.30pm at Gaeláras and a subscription of £20 is required towards running costs.
2019 is also the International Year of Indigenous Languages so what better year to start.
