Shane O’Neills GFC, Camlough has been awarded a £10,000 grant. With their grant they plan to install a new kitchen at their clubhouse to allow more community activities to take place to improve health and wellbeing.
IncredABLE. They are using a £9,512 to make improvements to their Mourne Centre outside Kilkeel which will allow them to facilitate short breaks for children and adults with learning disabilities and/or autism, and provide respite to parents and carers living mostly in the Southern Health and Social Care Trust area.
Clough LOL 1043 will use a £10,000 grant to install a new roof on Clough Orange Hall and upgrade their heating system. This will allow the building to be used for community activities to improve the health and wellbeing of local residents.
National Lottery players raise around £36 million every week across the UK for good causes like these. The vast majority of grants awarded are for smaller amounts of under £10,000, going to the heart of communities to make a big difference.
