Louth Gardeners and Growers Collective are hosting a Summer Solstice Fair at the Dolmen Centre in Omeath on Saturday 21 June from 10.30am to 4pm.
The event is being run in conjunction with Omeath District Development. Guest speakers include Environmentalist Éanna Ní Lamhna and Chelsea 10 time medal winner Christopher White of 3 Gates Nursery who will be giving a flower arranging workshop.
Entry is free and there will be lots of plants and crafts to buy on the day.
There'll be a good range of native plants on sale, as well as vegetables, herbs, flowers, garden plants, house plants and native trees. You will also find tomatoes, peppers, chillies, sunflowers, chives, squash, courgettes, comfrey and even turmeric. All the plants are grown without pesticides or any chemicals
Other stands there on the day include Cooley family run dairy farm Muchgrange Farm, Cooley Connect Well Group, Frances Henry Pebble Art and Photography by Ann Bruen.
