A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the deliberate ramming of a police vehicle near Newry on Monday 10 June.
The 20 year old was charged with a number of offences, including two counts of aggravated vehicle taking causing injury and two counts of failing to stop where an accident occurred causing injury.
He was further charged with theft, possession of a Class B controlled drug and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, in connection with a report of theft on 11th June. He appeared before Newry Magistrates Court this afternoon, Wednesday 12th June.
