A 27 year old man has been charged with attempted murder following an assault in the Moor Hill Road area of Ballyholland in the early hours of Wednesday morning 1 June which saw two men hospitalised with serious injuries.He has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, aggravated burglary, criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
The man is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Friday 3rd June.
