Drumalane Quayside Men's Shed recently completed a sponsored walk on the Greenbank Walkway in memory of former member Frankie Rea. Thanks to the walk participants managed to raise £4,801 for Southern Area Hospice.
The Chairperson of the Shed Gerry Coyle, said they were delighted with both the turnout for the walk and the amount raised. Gerry thanked all those who took part and sponsored the event. He added " Once again this shows what can be achieved when people come together for the greater good".
