The MEP commented "With the Brexit negotiations now formally underway it is vitally important that people know what is happening.
"These negotiations will shape our future and our relationships on this island and with Europe.
"The British government wanted these negotiations to be conducted in secret but I and my Sinn Féin colleagues worked hard to ensure there would be openness and transparency.
"As part of that commitment to transparency I will be publishing a monthly newsletter on what is happening in the negotiations and how its impact on Ireland.
"It will be launched in Newry on Friday where I will also be giving an update on the latest Brexit developments."
