Write a commentNewry and Armagh MP, Mickey Brady has welcomed and thanked the Big Lottery Fund for awarding £402,720 to TinyLife, a charity dedicated to premature babies, for their five year-year Positive Minds for Premature Parents project.
The Newry Armagh MP commented “I wish to congratulate the Big Lottery Fund for awarding this money to a very worthy cause.
“The Positive Minds for Premature Parents Project gives much needed practical and emotional support to parents who are bringing up premature babies.
“This project puts parents at the heart of its development with child development specialists advising so that TinyLife can put together an information booklet to support families with premature babies.
“Many people do not fully appreciate or understand the physical and emotional implications of caring for a premature baby, however, this project is a step forward in helping these families receive better support.”
