As part of international Museum Week, the planetarium has launched its latest technology to bring the moon into your home via an augmented reality app.
Budding astronomers can investigate craters up close, discover Apollo landing sites and explore the lunar surface. The app is packed with fascinating facts and tales from wider space.
The Observatory and Planetarium is also running a competition for the most creative ‘Moon in the Home’ image captured this week.
The app is available to download on both iOS and Android, with an instruction video available through the Armagh Observatory Planetarium Facebook page and via this link at YOUTUBE
In addition, the Science at Home series is continuing to wow young scientists at home with fun, astonishing and safe science experiments to try during lock-down.
