St Dallan's Primary School in Warrenpoint have received signage from the PSNI South Down Neighbourhood which it's hoped will help alleviate careless and inconsiderate parking.
Alongside the local Policing and Community Safety Partnership, two new road safety signs were provided to St. Dallan’s following recent issues and complaints from residents during the morning drop-offs and afternoon pick-ups regarding parking concerns.
These signage will be on display during the problem times, to help encourage more responsible behaviour when parking near the school.
Una Farrell, Principal of St. Dallan’s Primary School in Warrenpoint said: “We are aware of the concerns around parking at busy times at the school, and we continue to work closely with the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s South Down Neighbourhood Team to resolve these issues.”
