Our campaign "Newry 2020 - A Vision for our City's Future" got a mention in todays Newry Reporter with a great article by Ryan Sands that actually made sense of my ramblings as well as Peter Clarkes photograph at the historic Albert Basin.

Some other great suggestions include the need for a Skate Park, an Amphitheatre and cycle track.
One of our own additions would be the creation of a cycle path from Newry all the way to Carlingford. This has certainly been mentioned several times in the past and it's possible that plans are ongoing.
How wonderful it would be to safely take a spin for the day to Omeath and Carlingford with your children or Carlingford residents to come up to Newry rather than negotiate the narrow dangerous road.
