The Newry Rainbow Community have held a very successful event in the Sean Hollywood Arts Centre. Blaine Whitley, Chairman, Newry Rainbow Community introduced the panel on the night. The discussion was facilitated by Patricia MacBride, Commissioner for Victims and Survivors with a panel of
local politicians who took questions from the floor on issues important to the local LGBT Community.
The talk was extremely well attended and a very frank discussion took place. Present on the Panel were Caitriona Ruanne, MLA, Minister for Education; John McCallister, MLA; Mickey Brady, MLA; Dominic Bradley, MLA and local councillors Josephine O'Hare and Pat McGinn.
Sadly on the night Senator Norris was unable to attend due to illness
