Aiken Event Management in conjunction with the Canal Court Hotel will be hosting musicians over the coming month including The Waterboys, the Strypes, Ham Sandwich, The Coronas, Bell X1, The Rip Tide Movement, Gavin James, Alabama 3, The Darkness and Jools Holland.
The first big weekend starting off the gigs happens the 17th of June withThe Dublin Legends followed on the 18th of June by The Academic.
Coming from Mullingar, The Academic are one of the most exciting new bands coming out of Ireland right now and they are tipped for major International success. Having set the music scene alight over the last 18 months with their energetic live shows, the band have already played with the likes of Noel Gallagher, the Strokes and 21 Pilots, as well as playing to a sold out Vicar Street in Dublin recently.
Debut single, the Choice Music Prize nominated “Different” quickly established the band on the musical landscape in 2015, followed up by their EP “Loose Friends” the lads have been tearing up venues across the UK, Ireland and Europe with their infectious guitar driven brand of Indie Rock.
