The Newry.ie Photographer of the Year competition has fallen silent in recent months but after a bit of turmoil we are back on track again and ready and raring to go. Unfortunately there weren't enough entries for the August theme of Iúr Cinn Fleadh so we had to miss that month. Then September and October came and went so we will start again with the November competition and work things out after that.
Sitting at at the top of the table after four rounds are Gavin James Eaton and Tomasz Pietruszka with very little between them with Janine McArdle in third place.
The Theme for November is a simple one "Autumn" so get yourselves out there with your camera and show us your best shot that sums up one of the most beautiful seasons of the year for photographers. Whether it's an autumn activity or an event that takes place at this time of the year, a beautiful autumn scene or something abstract that indicates the season, we don't care. Just remember you need to take the photographs in November so a photo you have already taken won't do.
To Enter
Once you have your masterpiece please email it to npoy@newry.ie by midnight Wednesday 30 November.

10: Entrants will be published on the Newry.ie Website and social media pages from 1st day of the month for one week for the purpose of judging. The Monthly winners will be decided by the Public and a judging Panel. 40% of the vote will be from the public, decided from the number of likes given to each entrant via our social media channels and website, where they will appear for a week. The other 60% will come from the Judges. The overall Photographer of the Year Award will be decided from the monthly totals of the public and thejudges.
