The July round of the Newry.ie Photographer of the Year 2022 is concentrating of the architecture of Newry so send us your best photograph that showcases any of the beautiful architecture in our City. You have just 10 days left to get your entry in. The monthly winner will get a voucher worth £25 to be spent locally.
It could be the new estate being built or an old road leading into town, a religious building or Georgian row or anything you think fits the bill. It could highlight the beautiful Sands' Mill, a period doorway, a different look at the shopping centres, close ups of a building's detail or anything that you think captures Newry at its best.
We would love to see your photographs of buildings that aren't normally thought of as photogenic or details that perhaps we haven't seen before and could give a new perspective on a part of the city.
If we were giving a particular bit of advice this time, it would be to concentrate on your framing of the image and crop out anything that detracts from your photograph.
As usual email your one image to npoy@newry.ie by midnight 31 July.
Check the rules out at photographer-of-the-year-competition and note the photograph needs to be taken in July 2022 and it can't be published anywhere else before entering the competition.
