Samaritans in the Newry/ Dundalk area have reached an important milestone this year marking their 40th Anniversary of providing their much needed service to our area.
To celebrate this birthday, Samaritans Volunteers had a party at Slieve Gullion Courtyard.
Samaritans' services are available all day and every day, so even while the party was going on other Samaritans Volunteers were manning the phones to offer help to callers with emotional difficulties.
The Newry/Dundalk branch of Samaritans is raising awareness of the importance of talking about problems, and reminding people of its vital support for anyone struggling to cope.
