Hughes Insurance has awarded Tullyvallen Rangers Football Club in Newtownhamilton £1,000 to assist with the construction of a new walking track. The funding will help ensure the club can continue its valuable community work and help contribute towards the health and wellbeing of those who use the facilities.
Tullyvallen Rangers was nominated through the local company’s Community Fund initiative, which focuses on charities and organisations that aim to create lasting and positive change in the community.
Hughes Insurance’s Community Fund is part of the company’s Action for Impact Strategy – an initiative dedicated to help the company make a genuine contribution to society and the environment in Northern Ireland.
The local company allocated £12,000 in 2024 to support worthwhile causes and Hughes Insurance employees are encouraged to nominate initiatives that impact the communities they live in. The nominations are reviewed by a committee of employees and worthy causes are awarded support.
