The proceeds of John Dalzell's annual Christmas Sit-Out have been presented to the Southern Area Hospice.
John and his team raised the incredible sum of £125,467.60 during his collection from 9 to 23 December. The main collection took place at Marcus Square, Hill Street, Newry where the familiar hospice hut was in place. Other team members collected at Fiveways and Damolly Retail Park.
It's the 32nd Sit-Out that John has been involved in with over £2.25 million raised to date. Since Covid the sum raised each year has been well in excess of £100,000.
