Over £40K Raised by 'Keep Er Lit For Kayden'

An incredible £37,141 and €7,169.86 has been raised so far by the Keep er Lit for Kayden Truck Show. The show took place in Camlough earlier this month after being postponed from March due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Sadly young Kayden McKeown passed away in February at just five years of age after battling with leukemia.

A spokesperson for the organisers said "We’re absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity from each and every person, business and organisation who have donated and supported us throughout this campaign, it just goes to show Kayden's journey has touched the hearts of the entire community.

"Due to such a large amount being raised, the McKeown family have decide to donate to other families & charities from the proceeds made on the day such as CLIC Sargent Belfast (Paul's House). CLIC Sargent provided accommodation close to the hospital for the McKeown family while Kayden was going through treatment and also provided much needed help and support."

The McKeown family & The Keep Er Lit team would like to thank each an every person who contributed to making Keep Er Lit In Memory Of Kayden such a success.
