Planning Consultancy seeking sites for social housing developments

A planning consultancy firm is hoping to find locations locally for social housing developments. Up to 105 social houses are needed in the Bessbrook area and 49 in Crossmaglen.

The Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) have released the Newry, Mourne and Down Housing Investment Plan – 2021 Annual Update. This identifies the Social Housing Need for settlements within the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council area and shows a massive demand for social housing in the area.

MKA Planning have been successful gaining permission for a number of Social and Affordable Housing Schemes, outside of defined settlement limits across NI and are interested in anyone who has land in or on the edge the settlements below. The land may be developable for up to 15 Social and/or Affordable homes!
