Police in Newry are appealing for information following an road traffic collision at Stonebridge, Trevor Hill. Around 5.10pm on Saturday, 17 September. A green Peugeot 306 was crossing Stonebridge, travelling towards Newry Courthouse, when it was in collision with a flat bed truck. The truck did not stop. Police are keen to speak to the driver of the truck or anyone who witnessed the collision.
Police are also appealing for information following an assault on Monday, 5 September. Around 2am a 27 year old male and two friends were in fast food premises in Monaghan Street. Three males approached and started shouting before punching the 27 year old male. He ran off down Merchant's Quay and was chased before being tripped up. A number of males proceeded to assault him.
The IP managed to make off however he sustained an injury to his shoulder and cuts and bruising to his face which required medical treatment.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the assault or has information in relation to this incident to contact them.
Police in Armagh are appealing for information following a burglary in the Aughran Park area of Poyntzpass.
Some time between 6.30pm and 10.20pm on Friday, 16 September, entry was gained to a house and a number of rooms ransacked. A quantity of jewellery was taken including a number of rings and a golden locket. Two of the rings are of great sentimental value to the owner. The first is a fine, gold wedding band and the second a diamond and gold enagagement ring (seven low set diamonds in a row with one large stone in the middle and three smaller stones on either side. One of the left hand stones is missing).
Police are keen to trace these items so that they may be returned to the owner.

Police in Newry are appealing for information following a fatal collision on the Rathfriland Road, Hilltown on Sunday, 25 September.
The collision, involving a Renault Clio, occurred around 1.30pm. An 18 year old girl passed away following the collision. Police are appealing to anyone who was travelling along this road around this time and witnessed the collision or has information in relation to it to contact them.
Detectives in Ardmore have renewed their appeal for information following a serious assault in the Monaghan Street area, Newry on Sunday, 25 September.
At approximately 2.25am Police received a report that a 21 year old male had been assaulted and knocked unconscious. He was taken to hospital for treatment. It is believed that the altercation may have begun on licensed premises on Francis Street earlier on in the night A 20 year old man was arrested and has been released on bail pending further enquiries. Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the assault or the earlier altercation to contact them.
Detectives in Newry are appealing for information following a number of burglaries in the South Armagh area.
During Tuesday, 27 September, entry was gained to two houses in the Carrive Road area of Newry and a house in the Ballsmill Road area of Crossmaglen.
A quantity of jewellery was taken from each of the three homes.
The burglary at Carrive Road occurred between 10.20am and 11.30am or 12.55pm and 1.30pm. The second burglary at Carrive Road and at Ballsmill Road occurred sometime during the day.
Police are investigating a possible link between these incidents and are appealing to anyone who witnessed any activity around these homes or has information in relation to these incidents to contact them.

Some time between 6pm and 7.20pm on Sunday, 25 September, entry was gained to a house. A television was taken.
