Police are investigating after a shot was fired at a house in Newry on last night 3 December, smashing an upstairs bedroom window. No one was injured in the incident.
Officers received a report at around 10.50pm last night of a person with a firearm outside a property in the Mullavat Road area. When they attended the address they discovered that an upstairs bedroom window had been smashed, with the damage believed to have been caused by a gunshot.
Inspector Connolly confirmed that enquiries are ongoing and police are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time or who has any information to come forward. They are particularly interested in dash-cam, CCTV or other footage that may help with the investigation.
