Police are investigating another sudden death in Sandys Street in Newry. On Sunday 2 June police were on the scene of a sudden death in a property on the street and they have returned just three days later. A post mortem has been held following Sunday's death and police are awaiting results. Emergency services are also investigating the second incident and a post mortem will be held.
Newry City Councillor Geraldine Kearns spoke of the community shock. Cllr Kearns said "This is the second such incident in the locality within a few days and it has once again shocked the local community."
