Police are appealing for information and witnesses following the report of a burglary at commercial premises in the Drumintee Road area of Newry in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday 28 May. The thieves made off with a sum of money.
Constable McKevitt said: “We received the report of the burglary just after 3.30am this morning. It is believed that four men, wearing hooded tops and gloves, forced their way into the property, causing damage to the roller shutter and door.

“After taking a sum of money, it’s reported that the four made off in a Volkswagen Golf.
“We are appealing to anyone with information, or who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, to contact police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 143 of 28/05/19.”

to speak up and stop crime.
