Police have recovered over £50K in cash plus lorries and fuel during a number of searches across Newry and South Armagh yesterday, Monday 13 May.
Detectives from PSNI Organised Crime Unit conducted nine searches in the area.
A 20 year old man was arrested on suspicion of offences relating to possession and concealing criminal property.

More than £50,000 in cash, mobile phones and documentation as well as two lorries and fuel were seized, along with a related mobile fuel laundering site.
Detective Inspector Keith Gawley said “We are continuing to appeal to the public to report anything suspicious to us. Get in touch on the non-emergency number 101, or if you think a crime is in progress call 999.
“Information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
