Write a commentPositive Ageing Day takes place tomorrow and it’s being marked locally by a Fair at Newry Sports Centre, Patrick Street, Newry from 10am to 4pm.
The fair celebrates later life and the huge contribution older people make to Newry and Mourne.
There will be a range of stalls providing information, help and advice on finance, pensions, health and wellbeing, fitness, education, volunteering, social care, recreation and leisure, arts and heritage and much more. Entertainment, fashion show, free taster workshops, refreshments and a complimentary lunch will be provided.
