Constable Mark McCartan said: “Around 3.20am on Sunday, 24 May a post box, described as a ‘lamp box’ was taken from outside a shop at Shandon Park, Newry. It was cut from its mounting by an angle grinder. Three males, travelling in a saloon car were seen in the area around this time.
“We would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this incident. We can be contacted in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 293 260515.”
