Slieve Gullion public representatives are appealing to the public for any information related to a recent spate of burglaries in the area. Four men were arrested following an early morning series of burglaries in the early hours of 11 July.
Councillor Martin Hearty said: “If anyone witnessed anything or was a victim of these incidents, I urge them to share that information with police. Coming forward with information or a witness statement is vital to ensuring those responsible are held accountable.”
Newry & Armagh MLA Aoife Finnegan echoed the appeal and highlighted the importance of community support. “Everyone deserves to feel safe in their homes. Even the smallest piece of information could make a difference — I encourage anyone with knowledge to come forward to police.”
