Following the continued success of the annual motorcycle display in Rathfriland Young Farmers Hall, held in January of this year, Rathfriland Motorcycle Club members were happy to hand over proceeds to a charity near to their hearts. Air Ambulance NI were the beneficiary this year, receiving £1000 from the club.
Under normal circumstances, the club would be organising the 2021 show, however with the ongoing pandemic and public health safety measures, it looks unlikely that the event will run on it's regular date.
Receiving the cheque on behalf of Air Ambulance Northern Ireland is fundraising manager Colleen Milligan, from club Treasurer Alan Dowdeswell, along with Secretary Kirk Hanlon and Chairman Howard Anderson.
