Saval Lourdes Committee Raise £2,665 for Hospice

Saval Lourdes Committee have raised a fantastic £2665 for Evora Hospice from their 2025 St Stephen's Day walk from Saval GAC. The Committee have organised a walk for many years with an option of a 5k walk or a 10k walk this time round.

Committee members recently presented a cheque to Geraldine Lambe, a volunteer at Evora Hospice. The committee have expressed their gratitude to everyone who took part and those who supported the fundraiser.

Evora Hospice This year, it will cost around £6 million to run the Hospice and deliver the highest standard of specialist palliative care to local people with complex, life-limiting conditions. Of that they must raise £4 million, 65% of their total income, through fundraising alone. That’s the equivalent of £335,000 each month, £77,000 each week, £11,000 every day or £460 every hour.
