Detectives are appealing for information after shots were fired at a house in Newry last night, 16 March.
The incident occurred at around 9.15pm when two shots were fired through the window of a property in Damolly Village. The residents who were inside at the time were not physically injured but have been left badly shaken.
Detective Inspector Handley said: "The residents, who were in the house at the time, were uninjured however have been left badly shaken by the ordeal."
Enquiries are ongoing and police are asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity or suspicious vehicles in the area around the time of the incident to come forward. Anyone with CCTV, doorbell or other footage that could assist the investigation is also asked to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 1817 16/03/26.
