Sinn Féin activists Enda Hughes and Seamus McDonnell have raised a total of £3068 to support the Southern Area Hospice.
Just before Christmas they called down to John Dalzell on his Christmas Sit Out in Hill Street, Newry to present the cheque.
MLAs Liz Kimmins and Conor Murphy along with Mickey Brady MP were also on hand for the presentation.
John Dalzell was on his 30th sit out for the Hospice and he was in the city centre until Christmas Eve.
