Do the Greenway
All Weekend: Enjoy a cycle/ walk along the Carlingford Lough Greenway from the Albert Basin to Victoria Lough and back. Just over 7 miles return trip the greenway runs between the Clanrye River and Newry Canal. For walking allow yourself about 1hr 15 minutes each way. Cycling leisurly should take no more than 20 minutes each way.
The Passions
Good Friday 7 April: Go to the beautiful Riverside Church in Newry and get into the Easter spirit with some great classical music and poetry. 'The Passions' is an opportunity to hear the original version of Boccherini's Stabat Mater alongside Joseph Haydn’s Seven Last Words of Christ with poetry by Mark Strand.

Easter at Carrickcruppen GAA
Go along to Carrickcruppen GAA on Easter Saturday from 12 - 4pm. Caring Coins Fundraiser with face painting, Easter egg hunt, arts, crafts, music and more. Parking at St Paul's High School. Admission is £10 per car.
The Whistlin Donkeys
Easter Saturday night 9pm sees The Whistlin Donkeys make their first trip to the Canal Court Hotel.
Hailing from County Tyrone the band consists of 6 members with Fergal McAloon on vocals, Tomas Quinn on Banjo, Mickey Kerr on Fiddle, Stevie Corrigan on Guitar, Danny McCormack on bass and Oscar Bradley on Drums. The band have most recently toured Canada, USA, Europe and Dubai as well as filling venues across Ireland. With their unique sound of Irish folk/Celtic rock you are sure to have a foot stamping, hand clapping night to remember.

All Folk'd Up
Easter Sunday 9 April: Get yourselves back out on the town once again with a guaranteed great night at All Folk'd Up in The Bank in Newry on Easter Sunday night. Classic sounds from Irish Folk and Rock music traditions, while still sprinkling their own unique, modern twist. Fans have become accustomed to hearing bouncing melodies, enticing lyrical stories, vintage Celtic-Rock sounds with jaw-dropping banjo progressions and classic dance medleys.

Cycle to Poyntzpass
Why not take out that old rusty bike, repair that puncture and take the family on a wee spin out to Poyntzpass for the afternoon or if a bit more adventureous you could go all the way to Portadown. Starting on the towpath at WIN Business Park a leisurely hour or so will take you to Poyntzpass with plenty of stops along the way to check out the wildlife or walk through the Canal Wood. If you venture on a bit further the IWAI Interpretive Centre at Acton Lake which will be open over the summer from 10.30am. Stop off in Rices Hotel for a bite to eat or visit it, Canavans or the Dyke Inn for refreshments.
