The Southern Trust Children and Young People’s Services have developed a ‘Staying Connected’ helpline for children, young people, parents and carers experiencing stress or isolation as a result of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

In these uncertain times the trust recognise the need to support each other both practically and emotionally. Their trained social care staff are there to support you. They provide practical support, will listen to your concerns, provide reassurance and if necessary direct you to services that will assist you.

If you need help accessing food, fuel or medication they also can help. If you are feeling anxious, lonely or isolated they can help with that too.

Sometimes staying connected is all we need, a friendly chat with someone who cares.

You can call them on 028 37567150 Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
