Write a commentYes it's back again! Newry’s Most Stylish Week of Events is Back for 2012 after last years runaway success.
Fashionistas and trend setters are gearing up for a repeat of what was the most important date in the fashion calendar last year in Newry. The inaugural Newry Style City week-long festival of fashion, style and glamour was a phenomenal success in 2011. This year Newry Chamber of Commerce & Trade hopes that Newry Style City 2012 will be even better. Running from Sunday 25th March to Sunday 1st April there will be something for everyone with the return of the Style City Show and the Newry Style Awards as well as events in venues right across the city and beyond throughout the week.
Newry Style City 2012 will be launching on Tuesday 7th February from 5pm to 5.30pm at Bellinis in Newry. All retailers, service providers, the hospitality sector and those who may be interested in organising their own event are invited to come along.
Orla Jackson, Chief Executive Newry Chamber of Commerce & Trade said, “As part of the Newry Style City committee we are absolutely delighted to once again be bringing this fantastic event to our city. Last year we had amazing support from retailers and businesses across the region and we hope that will continue this year. We have already had interest from a number of sponsors which is a testament to the success of last year and the number of people who came and enjoyed the programme of events. We have lots of ways in which organisations and individuals can get involved this year with new events and activities on offer.
“We would encourage anyone who is interested in contributing in any way to come along to the launch on 7th February to find out all of the details or to put forward ideas for the programme.”
