A local events promoter has produced a survey for Newry City residents to try and gauge the state of play of Newry's night time economy which they hope will ultimately lead to initiatives that will help the city grow.
Tempo Promotions has been part of organising events along with Narrow Water Promotions at Newry Town Hall including Mack Fleetwood and have plans for an Abba Sensations Tribute Night in January and The Kilkennys in the Canal Court in March.
They want to hear feedback, both good and bad, to help with some regeneration and direct some much needed growth and traffic to the sector.
In recent weeks several venues have closed their doors including Croziers and Ginger Janes.
