Write a commentAs part of National Bike Week, from Saturday 18th to Sunday 26th June, why not get on your bike and cycle to Newry Swimming Pool or Kilkeel Leisure Centre? As a reward anyone who cycles to either venue at specified times, on these dates, will be entitled to a free swim.
Mayor, Councillor Charlie Casey, said “I am very supportive of this initiative which encourages our citizens to get out of their cars, get active and enjoy the district’s leisure facilities”.
To participate all children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Customers must also complete a questionnaire on arrival at the centres. All completed questionnaires will be entered into a prize draw for a voucher to the value of £150 to purchase a bike and accessories at one of our local bike shops.
