Write a comment2020 has been an incredible 'belly up' year with all of us expected to make up our new lives as we went along. Inevitably many mistakes were made both by ourselves and also by those that govern us, but the template for this year didn't exist so no one should be too hard on themselves.
It has been a horrific year for many people in Newry and surrounds. We think of all of you who have lost loved ones whether Covid-19 related or not. We think of those who have lost their jobs and those who find the reality of all of this an everyday struggle. There are many sources of help out there. Please use them or contact us if you want information on what is available.
Here at Newry.ie we thank all of you who stood by us this year.
First and foremost to you our readers we appreciate all your input. We want to make a positive difference to the city of Newry. Sometimes we do, many other times we fall short.
