Write a commentThe Choir Studio in Newry have launched a song to raise funds for Newry girl Lauren Fitzgerald who just under a year ago was diagnosed with stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma, an agressive type of cancer. It's just one of many fund raising initiatives by local individuals and organisations to raise money for Lauren's Journey.
Lauren’s family are trying to raise £234,000 by September for Lauren to access the Bivalent Vaccine clinical trial at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
Already there has been an amazing response to the choirs song for Lauren, in fact it's been viewed well over 20k times!
The Choir Studio & Music Rooms is based at Greenbank Filling Station and is home to many different choir, singing, examination and performance classes.
They have dedicated May to fundraising efforts for Lauren including a Music Fest earlier this month in The Bank.
