Three found dead in Newry Flat

Three people have died at a flat in Glin Ree Court in Newry. Their bodies were found in the flat this morning 

Detective Superintendent Jason Murphy said: “The bodies of an adult male, an adult female and a teenage girl were discovered at around 11am this morning.

Police continue to investigate the incident and post mortem examinations will take place in due course.

Councillor Charlie Casey has said the community in Newry is in shock after the deaths of three people in the area in Glinree Court.

Cllr Casey said “The community in Newry is in shock after what happened in today.

“My thoughts and sympathies are with all of those involved in this incident and their families.
