A family near Hilltown are celebrating 20 years of their spectacular Christmas lights display which to date has raised over £27,000 for Evora Hospice.
The O'Hare family's Leode Illuminations, has become a festive fixture in the local community, with the display getting bigger and better each year as lights are added left, right and centre. The family donate 100% of proceeds to Evora Hospice, which provides vital care and support to local families across the Newry and Mourne area.
The house is located between Mayobridge and Hilltown, one mile down the Leode road just after the 'Seven Bends', with two signs at the end of the road helping visitors find their way.
The lights are open to anyone in the local community who would like to visit from 5 - 10.30pm every evening until 6 January. For those unable to attend in person, donations can be made online via their JustGiving page at www.justgiving.com
The total amount raised continues to increase year on year, with any donation of any amount gratefully received by the family and the hospice.
