Two new Sinn Féin Councillors for Newry City

Sinn Féin have co-opted two councillors on to Newry, Mourne and Down District Council. Cathal King and Geraldine Kearns will serve as councillors for the Newry City District Electoral area. They replace sitting Councillors Cllr Charlie Casey and Cllr Roisin Mulgrew.

A spokesperson for the party said "We wish to thank the outgoing councillors Charlie Casey and Roisin Mulgrew for their services and wish them all the best for the future.

"We look forward to working with Cathal and Geraldine as they take their place as part of the strong Sinn Féin team in Newry."
