The local community is invited to come along this Valentine's Day to support families affected by brain injury at a special coffee morning in Camlough.
The Brain Injury Foundation is hosting the event at Our House at Newry Road, Camlough this Saturday 14 February from 10am to 12noon. The morning will offer a chance to enjoy a cuppa, meet neighbours, learn more about brain injury and raise vital funds for families who need support.
Every year, approximately 2,000 people in Northern Ireland sustain a brain injury. Behind every number is a person, a family and a journey of recovery. The coffee morning aims to raise awareness, offer support and strengthen the community.
The event will feature coffee, traybakes and a raffle, along with information and support about the effects of brain injuries. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about how brain injuries impact individuals and families across Northern Ireland.
Our House is located at 23 Newry Road, Camlough, Newry, Co Down, BT35 7JP.
Everyone is welcome to attend and organisers are encouraging people to bring a friend along.
The Brain Injury Foundation says the event is a chance to show what Camlough does best - looking after one another. By coming along for a coffee, members of the community will be helping to raise awareness and provide crucial support to those affected by brain injury.
