Following the completion of Warrenpoint Art Group's 2025 calendar project, the group have presented cheques to two local charities.
A total of £2,070 was raised with £1,035 donated to both Life & Time and Women’s Aid Down & Armagh.
The calendar, which features original artwork created by members of the Warrenpoint Art Group, was made possible through generous funding from Warrenpoint Port. The funds allowed for the production of the calendar, which was then sold to the local community and beyond.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Warrenpoint Port for supporting this project, and to everyone who purchased a calendar,” said a spokesperson for the Warrenpoint Art Group. “This initiative highlights the power of art to bring people together and give back to the community.”
Life & Time and Women’s Aid Down & Armagh both expressed heartfelt thanks for the donations, which will go toward their ongoing work supporting individuals and families in need across the region.
The calendar initiative stands as a testament to community spirit, creativity, and collaboration in Warrenpoint.
