A Newtownhamilton woman who is making masks and scrubs for NHS staff on the frontline during the coronavirus crisis has put her creative talents to use and made a unique patchwork quilt which she is using to raise funds for the NHS. The Quilt acknowledging the NHS features a scrub top & mask, as well as job titles of those who work for NHS. Pauline explains "The quilt was made from donated fabric from the general public and is testament of how our country pulled together to battle COVID-19 virus."
Pauline Frazer has spent this past month sewing almost 600 masks and donated them all. She intends to slow down for the next week before resuming. Pauline will be continuing to make masks for individuals (for a small donation of £2.50) with the distinct possibility that these might have to be worn on public transport.
