Artisan Market combines with Urban Art for Newry Arts Festival

Newry  Artisan Market returns next Friday night 5 April as part of Newry Arts Festival. The market will run from 6.00pm to 10.00pm at Newry Variety Market with a great selection of Artisan crafters to visit on the night with an incredible range of top notch products.

There will be amazing live art with 'Whitewash' a live urban draw with invited street artists running from 7-10pm. Whitewash is curated by OMIN internationally famous muralist and graffiti artist. It will take place in the Variety Market in Newry.

Of course there will also be a bar, DJ & hot food options including Melissa McCabe's Feast truck. Melissa featured on The Great British Menu over this last few weeks. Make sure you get down and sample some incredible locally produced food and drink. It’s going to be a great evening.

Whitewash will blur the lines between observer and creator. Engage with the artists, feel the pulse of the streets, and witness first-hand the evolution of daring new techniques and skills.

Join them for an evening that goes beyond the ordinary – an authentic, urban experience that celebrates creativity in its rawest, most unapologetic form.

And did we mention it's FREE admission.

This is just one of many events in the city for Newry Arts Festival. The festival runs from Monday 1st to Sunday 7th of April at many venues throughout Newry. Check www.visitmournemountains.co.uk/whats-on/newry-arts-festival for more.
