Narrow Water Events are holding a celebration of Irish music in May. On Saturday 18 May there's a performance from popular Irish rock band the Hothouse Flowers in Newry Town Hall with a special guest appearance from Matt McGinn. Then on Friday 31 May, Sharon Shannon, Frances Black and Mary Coughlan also take to the stage at the iconic Newry Venue.
The Hothouse Flowers first performed as a group in 1985 and has travelled the world. The band has had many classic hits such as “Don’t Go”, “I Can See Clearly Now” and “Give it Up”.
This performance will be one of the last events taking place in the town hall before it is refurbished.

Narrow Water Events promises this to be a night to remember and a celebration of Irish rock music. Seamus Rafferty of Narrow Water Events said "I’m really looking forward to the Hothouse Flowers coming to Newry it will be a fantastic gig as will Sharon Shannon, Frances Black and Mary Coughlan .

Later on 31 May Newry Town Hall will host a performance by Frances Black, Sharon Shannon, and Mary Coughlan, three of Irelands most successful female artists who worked together on the top selling Women's Heart album.
These performances from some of Irelands best and brightest musical acts will certainly be a knockout. Tickets for both events are available to purchase through Eventbrite.
